Stir Fry Cos Lettuce

I bought some cos lettuce to make salad recently. However, as i didnt feel like eating salad today, I've decided to stir fry the cos lettuce.

First add one table spoon oil in your pan and heat it. once that is done, add some chopped garlic in the pan and fry it. after that, add your cos lettuce in your pan. then, add some oyster sauce or vegetarian stir fry sauce with some water in your pan.

then it's done. it's so simple and fast. vegetable takes very short time to cook.

ingredients
1 clove of garlic - chop it into small pieces
1 table spoon oil
some cos lettuce(cut each leaf into 4)
a little oyster or vegetarian stir fry sauce in a bowl with water

Chocolate Fondue

i am a big fan of chocolate and what else to eat melted chocolate with if not the fresh fruit of your choice. i particularly like it with strawberries, banana, kiwi fruit and apple. you can eat it with marshmallow too.

Fondue is really easy to make. boil a pot of water and put a bowl or a smaller pot in your pot. i do not particularly like boiling the chocolate directly as the chocolate will become dry. put in cooking chocolate or eating chocolate in the bowl or your smaller pot to melt it. add evaporated milk in the chocolate and stir over the heat until the chocolate melts. add more evoporated milk if you like it milky. once that is done, remove from the heat and cool it for about 5 minutes.

once that is done, serve it with the fresh fruit of your choice.

Ingredients
Banana
Stawberries
Kiwi
Apple
Marshmallow
a can of evaporated milk
100g or eating chocolate or cooking chocolate

Stir Fry Teriyaki Chicken with noodles

This is a new recipe I would like to share with you. Sorry, I havent charged my camera but I promise that I will upload some pictures on the dishes I have tried.

This recipe is nice and give it a try if you are interested.

It is prepared for 6 people but if you like to have if for yourself only, reduce the proportion. I like cooking a lot at once so that I can reheat it and eat for the next meal.

Put noodle in a bowl and cover with boiling water, separate with a fork and drain the water. After that, heat half of the oil in wok or frying pan. stir fry chicken, in batches until it's lightly brown. after that, heat the remaining oil in the same wok, add onion, garlic, ginger and capcicum for about 3 minutes and stir fry it.

put the chicken back to the wok with sugar, sauce and choy sum. stir fry until the chicken is cooked and choysum is dark green. add noodles from the bowl into the pan and half of the cashew nuts, toss until heated through. serve the noodles topped with the remaining nuts.

ingredients
450g hokkien noodles
2 tablespoons peanut oil
1kg chicken thigh fillets, slice thinly
1 medium brown onion, slice thinly
1 clove garlic, crush it
2 teaspoons grated ginger
1 medium red capsicum around 200g, slice thinly
1 tablespoon brown sugar
2 tablespoons soy sauce
half a cup teriyaki sauce
500g of choy sum
half a cup of unsalted cashew

Onion Fried Eggs

A recipe that is so easy to try.

Cut half red onions into rings and cut them into half. once that is done, beat 2-3 eggs in a bowl. add a pinch of salt and some soy sauce.

heat your non-stick pan with some cooking oil. pour in the eggs with the onion and seasoning in the pan. that's it. i think frying eggs is quite easy but adding onion makes it nicer :)

ingredients
1/2 red onion
2-3 eggs
soy sauce
a pinch of salt

Tuna Sandwich

Tuna Sandwich is another simple recipe that a lazy person like me have tried.

Just get a can of tuna from the supermarket. make sure the tuna is in spring water and not in oil, or else the tuna will be too oily. take the tuna out from the can and into a bowl. smash the tuna with a fork or spoon. add some mayonnaise in it and dice the cucumber into small cubes. mix it together. once it's done you can add a little salt if you like. transfer it in a container and everytime u wanna eat it, u can take it out from your fridge.

Ingredients
bread
cucumber
a can of tuna
a bottle of mayonnaise
a can of corn (if you like - to mix it with the cucumber, tuna and mayo)

Italian Salad

I am a person who hates eating vege but sometimes it's not about choice. what do i do?

Well, i can share with you my italian salad recipe..

get cos lettuce from any supermarket - coles or woolworth (get the whole lettuce - since it's cheaper like that). peel some and cut it to the size you like. once it's done, wash it. always remember to wash your vege.
put it in a bowl.
throw some cherry tomatos in it. well it depends on how many you would like to eat.
cut some continental cucumber (well actually, any cucumber will do but the ones i got from the supermarket is continental cucumber). cut it into small pieces and put it in your bowl together with the lettuce and your cherry tomato (u can get grape tomatos as well instead of cherry tomato).

The pour in italian sauce those bottled ones that u can get from the shelf.

once that is done, u can just eat it. simple isnt it? trust me! it's easy and fast. try it!

Ingredients
lettuce
cherry tomato / grape tomato
italian sauce
cucumber

if there is not vegetable in my diet, i will make one salad to eat with my meal.
